It’s not uncommon these days to use AI to write a personal text.
A clever research study today found that when people are told a message was AI-written, they rate it as less sincere, less thoughtful and “lazy.” But when people aren’t told it’s AI-written, they don’t guess that and have a better opinion of it.

@TheConversationUS as far as I'm concerned, it matters less whether the message was written by GenAI, than whether the person behind it really meant what is written. And this could not be the case with or without GenAI
