I guess bridging with bluesky currently this does not make much sense to lemmy users?

As I understand it, Lemmy users do not have public messages, so no contextless posts like on Mastodon or Bluesky. On the other hand BridgyFed does not support communities, as a community cannot follow it.

So the way I have been using federation via ActivityHub, following communities and posting from mastodon, cannot be done from bluesky.

Are any computer scientists here on Mastodon working in Visual Computing, or Computer Vision? I'm looking for a collaborator to work on the visualisation of medieval handwriting as movement. Would be grateful for re-posts!

Precisazione importante: Threads e Bluesky usano una federazione parziale ed entrambi i social non federano i loro utenti di default, solo una piccola minoranza è federata, nel caso di threads addirittura nessun utente europeo può federarsi.

Gli utenti federati per entrambi i social sono meno di 5000, per fare un confronto, solo su mastodon.social vediamo ben 180mila utenti!
