I am pretty down today, as usual. lol
With this virus, how can I find a suitable phd possion next year? Would anyone offer me a funding under this economy situation...？And then I realise that this year is probably the best year in the next decade?? and every year things are going to be worse....
I have a dream that I could find a good phd possion and doing the research I am interested in for the rest of my life. Well I am really not good at other things, not as good as what I have achieved in my major.
Well at least I hope I could live in a healthy society and not worry about my future.

Under this pandemic, I seem like already accepting that fact that everything has changed and it will never got back for a considerably long time. There is not stable home for me, not one place is stable enough, and carrying everything, everything that matters with me in my suitcase is my destiny.
Here is it, my life in a suitcase, which really makes you think about what is important and what is not.
When everything falls apart, one got to grasp what one could control.

yes, i am still bad at this. lol

1.clean up (your desk, your room, etc) to avoid distractions
2.start doing stuff, even the smallest, start it immediately!!!!!
3.create a working schedule

I think I have already deleted every previous post of mine that was not written in English? (Not included those daily nonsense, after all they are not appear directly on my profile) So it looks good.
I do think that restricted to English for posting in local timeline will definitely help create a better community experience. (From a perosn who never toot anything puclically, lol)
(And hoenestly I don't think anyone will read my toot, lol)

I find that some of my colleges are pretty good that math and physics but not having enough coding skills, this could do harm to their researches..... They need to understand lots of previous codes, to achieve a simple function, however for someone who doesn't have enough experience, reading FORTRAN codes written in the last century (ALL IN CAPITAL LETTERS LIKE THIS) could be a real problem.
I shoud devote some of my free time into rewriting all this code in Python, so I don't need to explain the old FORTRAN code to students who are undergraduates
