Does the version in support Wayland? If not, how would one get KDE with support on Debian?? I don't wish to change distros at this point.

@marathon0 The version of KDE in Debian stable is too old to have good wayland support, you really need latest KDE version (5.24). You could use testing or sid branches in Debian (but I would argue you would be better off with a different distro if you was an easy way of having latest stable KDE.) KDE neon is a good choice

@marathon0 That' useful to know, however as the author of the packages has said they are untested (and are they updated regularly ?) .

Sorry, don't know how often it's updated, but Norbert being a former Debian Developer, I wouldn't worry about the quality of his packages!
