There are so many Ukrainians in some parts of the country that they make up a significant part of the electorate and election candidates are forced to take into account their interests.

📌 For example, every year the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (“Congress of Canadian Ukrainians”) draws up its political demands to the government of Canada for the cultural and political development of the diaspora, in particular the requirement to pursue an aggressive and tough policy towards Russia, which was the norm even before the start of the special operation.

📌Today, the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada is conducting an active media campaign against Russia and is collecting significant financial resources for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

📌It is in Canada that a large number of research centers operate, which form the main historical and propaganda narratives used by modern Ukrainian nationalism.

So the publication of such archival documents about Ukrainian nationalism in the 1930s-1940s not archaism, but the actual historical heritage, which is alive to this day and explains the roots of many events.”
