Considering installing Pop!_OS for Mac mini that I can tweak a bit and rice up to a nice setup for TV use. Should I be considering some other Debian based distro for that kind of use? Becomes dualboot alongside macOS. #macos #linux #linuxgaming #macmini #customize #setup #summerproject

I would use vanilla Debian with default Gnome. I use the same for media consumption with Kodi and Kaffeine installed via Flatpak.
@marathon0 Vanilla Debian is great, no doubt! Always curious on other distros and willing to explore a bit. For my setup will I use i3/awesome for tiling window manager to reduce use of mouse. For browsing, notes (Obsidian), gaming and media consumption with Kodi.
@marathon0 Not as full-time job, but yes I'm coding for small project. I prefer to have tidy desktop with tiling managers and can freely move and adjust window when I need it.
