Yeah I thought most folks from the Birdsite would be all over this. Unfortunately most leftists seem to be pro-war at the moment. Boggles the mind.

@marathon0 I'm staying with Twitter for now. This place is a gated community; I hope that changes. Afaic, this account is just for connecting with people who might get bumped from Twitter and come here (I follow Chad Loder here), but while many of my regular Twitter friends now have Mastodon accounts, only one seems to actually use it.

Yip i hear you! I still use the Birdsite and hadn’t come here bc of Tusk. I’ve been here for several years and like the technology. Unfortunately most of the Twitter horde prefer so much moderation that it just becomes an echo chamber. Let’s face it most are from the west and think they believe in freedom, but in my opinion only their freedom, not anybody else’s. I’m so tired of so called progressive white folk! They think they speak for the downtrodden, but really have no clue - to wit the Ukrainian issue.
