Insomnia helped me discover Mastodon tonight. I am enrolled in a JavaScript class, so I might post some things about it. I am interested in science, engineering, politics & jokes.

@maricela Welcome! I'm also learning #JavaScript / HTML / CSS at the moment. Found some excellent courses on Udemy for this with a lot of hands on practice and great resources. Great fun to learn, although the whole frontend development stuff takes some getting used to when comparing it to data science development which is what I'm more familiar with. But modern JavaScript is quite a pleasant programming language, I must say.

@walterbogers True, frontend was nice to learn, but I got to NodeJS. It isn't difficult, but it is a lot and not as fun. I try to learn as much as I can to find a job In January and learning both frontend and backend should help me do that. This is my playlist for today: youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4c What will you learn these days?

@maricela Cool, thanks for sharing the playlist! I haven't looked at backend development with node.js yet, might pick that up later. At the moment I'm taking some courses on Udemy on frontend development (just shared the titles in a separate toot), these are very good.
