I am looking for an more recent reference about the global impact of the Human Genome Project. This article is dated from 2013 and I guess that there could be an updated research on this topic ? @marind that's an interesting question, please keep us updated about your research activities. I guess it will be tough to assess the impact by now as it has revolutionized the world. I would argue that entire industries would no longer be able to function in the absence of the human genome, pharma, food and biotech for sure!
