I know the #BBC #proms are shit, but I did watch the Aretha Franklin one last night -- because it was pretty good.
I didn't even know it was on, just flicking channels. But Sheléa was really good. She's got a great voice and is capable of singing those Aretha songs.
I thought their version of Say a Little Prayer was a bit shit though. They did it too soft.
But it was pretty good.

@mc Yeah, some good shit. She did Aretha justice. She was the right kind of singer to do it. Her voice wasn't forced and straining like some singers' would.
