“Associate with people who are likely to improve you.” -Seneca I feel like I am trying to find more people to learn from on Mastodon, as I once did on Twitter and other social media. 🙂

@mguhlin What are you trying to learn? What do you value, that you already know?

@Sydney as an Edublogger I am always on the hunt for new ideas, digital tools. Mastodon is such a rich source, i need to write then gather. Your comment was spot on.

@mguhlin I think you are expressing something I am also having some trouble with. Quotes from the masters are cool but how are people using stoicism in their lives? How is it working? Where are their challenges? I like the daily planning going on and some of the other materials, from you your critical thinking post was interesting. I think we just have a slow start from the stoics.

@mguhlin it is easier to reduce pain then increase happiness, perhaps your search for betters interrupts your ability to teach someone else. I don’t know you so this is just speculation.
