@mguhlin @edutooters I can tell you that I have no idea who Tami is despite more than cursory efforts. There's not supposed to be such a thing as a quoted toot AFAIK.
@scerruti Those of us on the **Qoto.org** instance have access to _superpowers_ thanks to a wonderful admin. We also have access to **Markdown text** 😁

@scerruti and there you have it, maybe just enough to be useful but not much else besides bold italics. The ordered list got turned into an unordered list. that's something.

Quoted toots have been discussed and rejected by the core mastodon community so I doubt they're very portable across instances. I assume that mean they won't work in edutooters.
