It takes a lot of restraint to step back, document your vision, and write actual requirements (user stories) for a passion project. The temptation to dive in is really strong, but the need for restraint increases exponentially with the scope of the project. This one is a little too big for me to just "wing it".

@MrFarland Have you tried using the gamethinking framework (Amy Jo Kim's work)? It works great for me to keep the big picture without getting lost in the wees!

@MrFarland Here's an example of how I use it. Simply a high level framework in the form of user stories throughout a product lifecycle.

@funficient @MrFarland this is terrific! Is there a citation for framework or questions? If your own design, could you share a copy with your name on it? I want to blog about it.

@mguhlin @MrFarland We really need to find a way to be better at citations! :-) It's so hard!

I got it by joining the hub on gamethinking.io/ Amy Jo Kim (the founder) hosted a webinar to explain it. I adapted it slightly, but it's her work, not mine.

I think the framework is in the book, but can't find the blueprint I got at the webinar. I posted my work in the hub when I used it. She would really love if you reference her with a link back to her website (I think)!

@mguhlin @MrFarland Ps. You're welcome to use this image in your post as example. My logo is on there already.

@funficient @MrFarland Thanks! I will tag you and her when I blog it, adapted for education. 🙏
