@temporal@mastodon.technology I've only tried paredit and smartparens, so I don't know the current "best" mode, but smartparens is pretty good. It says has support for Org mode, LaTeX, and other languages, but I usually only use it with Clojure and other lisps.

It's hard to overstate what a scam academic and scientific publishing is. It's run by an oligopoly of wildly profitable companies that coerce academics into working for free for them, and then sell the product of their labors back to the academics' employers (often public institutions) for eye-popping sums.


How am I supposed to remember to use Mastodon when it doesn't even have dark-pattern addiction algorithms designed to suck the life energy out of me?
