This farmer paid $1000 out of his own pocket for a sign to stop travellers getting lost, when Google Maps directed them across his property towards a tourist spot which could not actually be accessed by that route.

(Google finally fixed the problem after a journalist contacted them.)

@gregeganSF I ran into a local who was in the same situation the other day. I reported the problem to Google Maps but I guess they don't fix these things in a timely manner.
