Have some fun cursed "close enough" °C to °F temperature conversion ratios:

Below -40° (doesn't matter which scale), multiply by abooouuuut... 1.2 to 1.4 the colder you go.

Between -40° and 0°C you can kinda forget about it tbh. Just guess a number between -40 and 32 that seems correct and you'll probably be pretty close.

From 0°C to 50°C, multiply by 3. You'll be surprisingly close.

And from 50°C on up, multiply by 2. 😋

@dragonarchitect interesting. I've been doing surprisingly ok in California with only knowing this incomplete and approximate table:
32°F = 0°C (freezing)
70°F =~ 20°C (human-friendly)
100°F =~ 37°C (body)
(212°F) = 100°C (boiling)
350°F = (175°C) (oven)

The values in parentheses are those I had to look up for this post.
