@loke OK, tried './gradlew gui:run' (Test ui) now, seems to work:

range (1.1;10;10)
1.1 1.9900000000000002 2.88 3.7700000000000005 4.66 5.550000000000001 6.440000000000001 7.33 8.22 9.110000000000001

BTW: Is it normal I have to press the decimal '.' twice before it shows in GUI? Seems like the '.' key triggers some special functionality (have en. int. altgr dead keys keyboard selected).

@loke Sorry for late reply, I meant to handle the special characters, eg. ∇ range.

@loke Personally I think it's fine to wait with caring about performance until being satisfied with the functionality, then you can can go wild optimizing, or let others do that (if public, free or open source).

Been working some more on my programming language. Performance is not great, but acceptable in most cases (but since people seem to be happy with Python, perhaps I shouldn't worry about making it performant).

The code base is only 17k lines of Kotlin. That's much less than expected.

It not builds for the JVM, Natively as well as to Javascript, so it's even possible to run it in the browser.

@modrobert @loke The GEOS KERNAL defines the macro (and also uses it). You can change it in my reverse-engineered source: github.com/mist64/geos/blob/ma :)

@pagetable @loke Please modify the macro so I can sleep at night.

@loke What about grub boot menu, do you have that in Fedora? Was thinking if you boot an older kernel (usually the last five are there when grub menu is activated).

@loke I've only had problems when moving from fglrx packages in Ubuntu to open source. Have to really delete a lot of packages with purge before installing open source Radeon, other than that it worked fine, performance is a lot better than it used to be in Radeon. Sorry, wish I could help more, still seems weird you don't get any crash dumps or logs from it. Steam sometimes put logs under /tmp when games crash there, but this seems more serious, hard crash. Anything in old 'dmesg' logs under /var/log?

@loke OK, are you using open source Radeon drivers (default?) or the AMD proprietary fglrx/Catalyst ones?
