@nomi my first thought was that it has to be relevant for ethical questions (ie do robots really feel pain). But then I realized that just not differentiating as long as you can't tell always seems like the best way to go.
@benni bin da persönlich derjenige der denkt, dass hinter Bewusstsein doch irgendwas stecken muss. Halte aber auch menschen- oder lebewesen- ähnliche Götter für sehr weird und unwahrscheinlich.
Finde Panpsychismus sehr interessant aber Glaube würde ich das auch noch nicht wirklich nennen

Whats insane about physics is that even with 4 years in uni and a couple masters lectures I have no way of telling how relevant or even truthful articles like these are.
Even if this would be complete bullshit, I would have no way of telling that it is without learning about at least a couple of new topics.

Auf Twitter fluten gerade Spambots einen Hashtag, unter dem zuvor Berichte von den Protesten in #China zu finden waren.
Die augenscheinlich koordinierte Aktion stört ein internationales Publikum dabei, sich über die Proteste zu informieren.
Man muss erstmal einige Accounts wegblocken, um überhaupt etwas zu finden. Zusätzlich funktioniert die Blockfunktion gerade nicht zuverlässig.
Witzig ist aber auch: Durch die massive Spam-Aktivität ist der Hashtag in den Trends.

I do like it here on Mastodon, but the huge influx of people from Twitter means there are far fewer image descriptions than from even a couple of weeks ago. I’d love to tell every one of them about this, but quite frankly there are so many I don’t have the patience. I’d dearly love it if apps could block posts unless an image description was added to every photo, but I suppose that’s too much to hope for. I’m feeling really excluded from so many conversations. It’s getting as bad as Twitter.

Ok it’s clear to me now…the wealthiest man on the planet intends to get richer by using honeypot tweets like this to whip otherwise sane people into to a constant state of fear that extremists are taking over the country.
This not free speech. It’s a 2-minute-hate stretched into a 24/7 primal scream, orchestrated by a soulless billionaire for his own financial gain and amusement.
