Hey folks, I'm #newhere , so I guess it's time for an #introduction !
I write #cpp and #python software for data analysis in high-energy physics. I like performance-oriented #software design, I'm learning #rust and I play #ttrpg , currently running a couple of #dnd adventures.
So far I don't really feel like I'm building a good mastodon feed for myself, I guess it takes some work uh -- but at least here on #qoto I can follow other instances without resorting to multiple accounts, which is _so nice_. Thanks qoto admins!
@moremeta might want to play around with all the features, like lists and circles, or following other local feeds. Following hashtags or keywords is a great feature here, where other instances have to default to following just accounts.
