When it comes to Duolingo, language teachers have very mixed opinions ranging from being a very effective learning tool to the most wrong way of learning a language.
What do you think?

I think everybody has their own way of learning a language?
I'm not sure four years of two hours a week is very effective either, but that worked for some. Just not for me.
@mur2501 Duolingo feels like a gamification app with language learning built on top of it. They try to retain users by making the gamification more effective rather than the language learning. It should be the other way around.
@mur2501 It helps a bit with practising - but learning a language with it? well no.
