@amiloradovsky Same! When I was 17 I went up to the bar one day to buy a roll of quarters to keep playing Asteroids. While she went to get them I thought "What the actual fuck gemlog? That's good beer money!" and I stopped.
It's like being programmed to jump through hoops by someone else. Nowadays a whole team of someone-else's.
I can't be bothered.

@gemlog @amiloradovsky That's most of what life is. Wanting things you've been trained to want by someone else, because the lenghts you'll go to get that thing will benefit your trainers.

And then you break out and decide to control your own wants, but most likely you'll fail, or get tagged as a dangerous deviant.

Ah, well now - there's something I'm really good at: failing! :-)
I have learned from my mistakes and I can repeat them exactly!

But can any of you resist pushover??

Sure took me ages to solve a stupid puzzle, but the music started ramping up just as I figured it out and made it by the last second (yes, final victory animation counts towards your time)... that's the magic

@namark
Yes. By never play games, I really mean never. Just zero interest. Ever.
I'm happy it makes you happy though :-)
