If it's astrological (the moon has to be in the right postion between the earth and the sun) then it shouldn't matter if the moon's not visible (or in china). If it's something with moonlight itself then why does it have to be a full moon? Why not 3/4ths? Enough output? Why does 3/4ths not do anything at all then?
@thestrongest @pernia @kura that's why i think the sunlight counters it. so maybe artificial sunlight could block the transformation process too. i wonder if any media has explored that possibility.

@georgia @kura @pernia @thestrongest the curse outlines a rough time period, but not a specific time or trigger, so I don't think it's clear cut in any way. It's part of the spook that you don't know exactly when it's going to happen. They prolly turn when they see the moon cause they get nervous and trigger/accelerate the process somehow, otherwise they probably keep themselves busy and manage to resist it during the day. A biological clock force of habit kind of thing I would guess.
