Thoughts on plastic
Plastic is an amazing material (or, I should say, category of materials). It's useful for an almost infinite number of things, and anyone looking around where they are would very likely find a a crazy number of objects made from it.
That said, I cannot think of any object that contains a plastic part that would not be considered higher end if that plastic part was replaced by something in a different material.
Your game controller? The high end ones are metal (usually aluminium).
The keys on your keyboard? Have you seen those wooden keycaps?
The dashboard of your car? High end cars use wood.
The back of your phone? Doesn't hold up against that high end carbon fibre one.
The transparent surface of the phone? Proper phones have glass, or even sapphire.
Can anyone help me think of a single high end product that has a plastic part where replacing that part with something using a different material wouldn't make it higher end?
You seem incredibly biased, so much so that I'm doubting if this is just a massive bait troll.
You are asking for a product, that has not at least one plastic part that if even partially replaced with something else will become more luxurious? Literally replace a tiny little chunk of the case with a gold nugget and we're done? The question only makes sense to me if you are talking about every(or the most relevant) plastic part that can be replaced being replaced, and yet your examples focus on singular usually decorative parts.
Now to the truly ridiculous assertions:
