Factoid fact:
The term factoid was coined to mean an invented fact believed to be true because it appears in print.
Because English is as it is, it has been redefined as meaning a small fact. Not quite the same as bad meaning good depending on the circumstances.
I wonder how many English words have so completely switched their definition.

Similarly "Incredible" means "i don't trust your sources" but now it stands in for "wow"
