Changelog: Windows finally runs natively under #Emacs. The long-awaited feature ships with the new Emacs version released today on April 1, 2023. Just hit M-x mswindows-mode and don't turn off your computer, this will take a while.

Someone™ pointed out to me that #kmonad [1] is a lot more lispy than #keyd, overlays devices by paths and overall has larger community. While keyd is a way to have universal system-wide config with different layouts this is a solution more suited to building #emacs macro organs.

I published a new library called ThumbHash, which generates very compact image representations for image placeholders. There's more info on the website: https://evanw.github.io/thumbhash/

It's inspired by BlurHash but does some things a little differently (e.g. supports alpha, uses binary instead of ASCII, separates luma and chroma).

Big thanks to @WAHa_06x36 for the original BlurHash concept and implementation.
