Sky greys over town
Orange flowers leave the roads
Wintertime arrives

Aspire for small things
Dreams like microwave dinners
Attained in moments

Lie to me sweetly
Let me believe it is real
Don't let truth bind me

Stop looking at me
Keep your dirty eyes off me
I'll cut you, tater

Woof! Snap! Boom! Cha-ching!
The onomonopia
Meaning beyond words

Tenuous testing
Edges felt, contours caressed
A thought nearly born

A distant thunder
Miasma falls on the land
Lunch roils my belly

Great shapes line the sky
Heartbeats circulate the streets
The city awakes

With a twist and hiss
It hits with familiar bite
Ahhh! Refreshing drink!

Hand cupped in my hands
Each breath, promise and prayer
Who will you be, child?

Lunch dropped mid bite
Tea spills from a glass upturned
Phone rang. Mom is sick

Cacophonous words
Ringing silence on the web
Say nothing at all

Visiting old haunts
Neither of us what we were
Sorrow for things lost

With hate in his eyes
He shut us out from saying
"We love you, come home"

Catch a falling star
Feel her passion burn through you
Live reborn from ash

Evening visit
News and booze in the kitchen
Drinking, but not alone

What's become of me?
I was funny! I had friends!
Now I write haikus...

Open your eyes some
I'll show you what love can be
Let me mend your heart

Consider turkeys
Unaware this is the end
Savor every day

What was comes again
Worlds will ever madly spin
We echoes repeat
