Saw someone request artist recommendations for #Synthwave artists and realised I didn't even know what Synthwave was. But now I do, and for a software developer of a certain age with a predisposition for low budget, VHS and worse quality movies from the 80s, it's a great genre of music to listen to in the background. I'm seeing cheesy hacking. I'm picturing nerds finding love. I'm wondering about the virus uploaded to the droid station in orbit. Shiny suits. And warehouses. So many warehouses.
