Oh, holy shit. I just realized that they are getting this software to compensate for the fact that the whiz-bang who married our advising software to Banner left because she was not getting paid enough, and that they did not hire a friend of mine who would have been AWESOME at the job. I sort of want to fill out the feedback form now, but I don't see the option to tell the people making these needlessly expensive decisions that impose extra work on all faculty to "jump directly up my butt."

We really just "onboarded" the other "solution" a few years ago and it was "synergistic as fuck." We're just going to throw that away? Years of staff time were spent programming that system to meet the unique demands our curriculum makes. Ugh. What a waste.
