Managed to park the car outside the house, and since it's been used as target practice by the gulls recently I thought it might be nice to give it a quick wash. This, of course, meant that every old person who walked by said something to me: "Nice day for it" and "You've missed a bit" and, of course, the traditional "You can do mine when you've finished." I don't know where this tradition started but I do wonder how it gets passed down through the generations.
@neonbubble It's tradition, or an old charter, or something.
