I've had my second dose of my shingles vaccine today, so that's nice.

By all accounts, shingles totally sucks. I feel very happy that I'm a lot less likely to get it now.

Vaccines are awesome.

@nullifidian That's another nice benefit of vaccination. Quite apart from avoiding the ouchiness, hopefully I won't have to grapple with the tricky question of whether shingles is singular or plural.

Anyway, hope you made a good recovery.

@statsguy Eventually. It was a good 15 odd years ago now, but if I think about it I can recall the searing pain. Definitely one to avoid.
