I see he is trying hard to avoid documenting the failure of the auto-driving system.

Frankly, I've always been a bit sceptical about self-driving cars.

I don't think it is impossible per say, with the right infrastructure (much like how trains have their own infrastructure).

But, the idea you can stick a bunch of fancy math in a car, stick it on any random road, and it can drive itself perfectly feels like a bit of a reach.
