The Stamos angle is because Facebook does end-to-end encryption, that means end-to-end encryption is bad.
He even posted a Q-like angle where he presumed there were hundreds of millions of child predators out there, until he deleted it, to try to get at FB.
He doesn't criticize actual issues, such as the lack of privacy, or the strange puritanism.
It really feels like he got in a fight with management, got sacked, and went off the deep end.
