pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/314325 Study finds no link between sexual aggression and adolescent porn use (aggressive ones used less porn).

pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/310420 Study finds no decrease in "sexual satisfaction" when using porn in adolescents.

So, it's not clear that porn is spooky here.

Even if there was a *correlation*, this doesn't necessarily mean there is a *causal* relationship, especially if certain variables are not controlled for.

Even if there was a *causal* relationship, it doesn't mean it is a significant issue.

Also, sex education seems like a better avenue than invading everyone's privacy or internet censorship.

It also seems there is a bit of a moral panic around BDSM? This might be a generational gap? Is there a big problem?

Not going into further detail in this post.

*significant issue
Minor issues too wouldn't be worth a panic.

By the way, that isn't the only study which finds no link between sexual aggression and adolescent porn use.

If I recall, the amount of porn usage didn't really go up during covid, which indicates that such usage is driven by someone's *desires* rather than anything else.
