@mima This "tooters" site honestly gives me the creeps. The sort of language they use is reminiscent of some very weird circles, not really how a normal person speaks.
@olives@qoto.org I have been keeping a close eye on their fediblock posts ever since I heard about them falsely accusing instances of harboring lolicon and CSAM, and just to be safe I've suspended the sending of all activities to their server long before I made that fediblock post, just in case they turn on Makai for whatever reason.
I guess it was true after all that they're doing false accusations, and they're even 100% confident at that, which makes me wonder if they're either maliciously lying (and if so, I still don't get why, like it's just some 2hu instance ran by what's essentially a rando for god's sake!) or just that delusional whenever they come across a misskey.io post.
A shame, as I kinda considered them friends after that TBS incident. Guess you can't really trust your "allies" after all...
@mima TBS?
The language is creepy. Words like "paraphilia". Which seems to be used with the intent of suggesting that someone is "subhuman".
That is seriously out of line and very much not okay.
@mima It's not really just the plain meaning, but the cultural context. It was seemingly invented by a transphobic sexologist (who suggested they actually have some "fetish"), and it's used to coldly talk about people as if there is something wrong with them, and it's intrinsically anti-kink. That's not unlike running around suggesting people are subhuman, and like, who cares what art someone likes. And like, they also seem really creepily paranoid.
