In around about five years, I have encountered one instance of this on the Internet. Studies also suggest it is fairly rare on porn sites. Perhaps, society is just more open about unorthodox sexual practices now.

Maybe, something educational might be useful, such as something going over the potential health risks. Pretending something doesn't exist (in the hope of it going away) is unlikely to be helpful.
