I agree that attacking someone for using Bluesky doesn't make sense, especially when the main competitor to it is Threads.
In theory, someone could use the fediverse. In practice, there is a good chance they wouldn't, so it would practically come down to one Silicon Valley firm or another.

Once again though, I think a slower pace of growth for the fediverse is okay.
