"In a statement, Haas said the State Guard was a “military organization” that will be used not just for emergencies but for “aiding law enforcement with riots and illegal immigration.”"

His most brazen gesture so far in his latest run. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out that this is pandering.

Noting that the Australian guy is now attempting to conflate someone, awkwardly, advocating for treating even "sexually immoral" people with respect, and to offer proper due process, with advocating "abuse".

This is very likely a dog-whistle to his Q base.

Oh, I see why a Floridian official might suddenly be "concerned" about sex trafficking, and that Australian guy is veering into Q territory, there's a new sensationalistic Q themed film.

By the way, there is apparently a novel scam now where someone pretends to be an "age verification" service, and takes the opportunity to steal someone's sensitive info.

Thanks puritans.

That is another thing which makes me seriously doubt that spying on everyone with a Chat Stasi would be helpful (asides from other caveats which should be abundantly clear at this point).

An interesting thing we noticed last year was that a few accounts which spammed apparent "exploitative" language were actually hacked accounts.

An account would post normally for a number of years, and abruptly change it's behavior, and start behaving in an automated fashion.

Apparently, Shakespeare's works might be vulnerable under Florida's new school library censorship bill.

I personally think they have more of a *point* about Bing's stupidity here, than the one who sued ChatGPT (which everyone knows is powered by an algorithm), in how they presented the information.

In my opinion, they should add some kind of disclaimer, at the very least. That would be the ethical thing to do.

I'm not so sure this would be unlawful though.

So far, the Threads Borg has yet to come for the United Federation of Planets.

Because there have apparently been 70 cases of sex trafficking of minors in the U.S., on Facebook's platforms, officials from Florida are shaking their fists at Zuckerberg for being "incompetent".

Don't Facebook's platforms have something like 200 million users? And 2 billion users internationally?

@literalgrill Presumably, more posts have been federated to one server than another.

Interacting with more people might help.
