I'm reading a take about "porn with taboo themes" reducing sex crimes. I don't think that is necessarily incorrect. However, by focusing entirely on crime reduction, it ignores what it *might do for someone*.
It makes it easier for someone to process some things without hurting themselves...? Also, it provides modes for someone to express and entertain themselves. People engage in things in entertainment they wouldn't do in real life all the time.
I don't have the time to go into this...
In any case, I suppose that is still a positive step.
