"What do you know of Galactus' pain?!"

"An employee at the DMP1 Amazon Delivery Station was getting coffee on February 9 when he saw a button on the coffee vending machine’s touch screen that read “gallery,” according to Jonathan Canaday, a sortation associate who was working at the warehouse that day. The employee pushed the button and came across around half a dozen random photos of the breakroom, according to Canaday."

"The European Union (EU) appears to be actively seeking workarounds around a ruling issued by the European Court of Human Rights concerning end-to-end encryption.

Not even a week had passed since the court announced a ban on weakening this vital element of online security and privacy before the EU announced High-Level Group (HLG) consultations “on access to data for effective law enforcement.”"

"Now, when push has come to shove, policymakers at the European Union (EU) must act to ban spyware in Europe. Yesterday, the media reported a major attack on EU democracy with members of the European Parliament Defense Committee being the target of phone hacking. Intrusions of this kind pose a threat to democracy by interfering with electoral and decision-making processes and undermining the integrity of the public debate."

I wish there was a way to collapse long threads in the "home feed".

Judging by the notifications (quite a few have poured in now, including follows and replies), there appears to be some degree of interaction with other instances now.

Posts pouring into the "home feed" now, although older ones.

I see there's been quite a bit of progress.

"On March 5, San Franciscans will have the opportunity to vote on a ballot measure that would decide whether or not to make them into guinea pigs for surveillance experiments by the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD)."

"In other words, the SFPD could roll out an unapproved method of surveillance, and it would have free rein to operate within the city for up to a year before ever having to ask city officials for permission. And until the city passes a statute that specifically forbids it—that is, forbidding a technology that is by that point already in use—then the SFPD can keep using it indefinitely."

The progress appears to have sped up a bit.

I hope Mastodon doesn't have to sync every post in order to function properly. What sort of incompetent buffoon designs a software like this...

I'm told that Mastodon is a notoriously fussy software, so I suppose that explains the current issues with stability here.

There was a burst of 404 errors appearing for a bit.

I saw part of that name and misread it as Assange Island, lol.

I'm seeing some likes trickling into "notifications" but replies are not.

@skyblond Curiously, I got a notification for the like but not for the reply.

I think it is likely the "home feed" and "notifications" are currently broken.

Outwards federation appears to be broken.
