Ruby is an annoying language in the sense that it feels like it does everything differently from every other language for the sake of it.
It's also infamous for being slow and resource intensive.
Back in the day, it was the language to pick to be "hip" and "modern". Nowadays? I don't see any reason to use it.

Mastodon was the most successful in marketing their software, however, it isn't the only (or even the first) software on the fediverse.
Wait until they find out that Mastodon wasn't the first fediverse software (as if emerging from the Big Bang at the the start of the universe).

Better sync? I'm seeing a fair bit of stale data.
Better threading.
Less clicking to get at information.
Perhaps, add an option of just seeing "new posts", rather than infini-scrolling down to *just the right spot* to read through them.
I don't know if I could achieve all of that, but those are things off the top of my head which would help.
This anime is about average. If you want something to kill time, it might be okay.
