Considering the legal protections disabled & impaired people have in most of the developed world, why doesn't there seem to be any legal actions pushing back on CAPTCHAs? Even gov. sanctioned public services are imposing #CAPTCHA with reckless disregard.

Exactly. During a heavy lockdown I had to complete google captcha to get outside. That's crazy.

@omicron if i were disabled in a way that CAPTCHAs were extra difficult, I would have a lawyer on retainer just to litigate a series of lawsuits. And I bet it would be easy to crowd-fund the lawyer's fees.

@omicron #Twitter imposes #Google recaptcha on ppl, which then hinders disabled ppl from using twitter to tweet to their gov. representatives. So in the US a good lawyer could probably make a 5th amendment / ADA case and go after politicians directly.
