I guess it is time for a Mastodon #introduction post!
I am a PhD in visual neuroscience, and am currently an associate professor at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden and a research group leader at St Erik Eye Hospital.
The group's work focuses on #neurodegeneration, #neuroprotection, neuronal metabolism, and #NAD metabolism. Our primary disease is #glaucoma but we also work with other optic neuropathies and collaborate on #Alzheimer disease and #Parkinson disease projects.
