Probably none of that would've happened if my CS 1 class weren't taught in Scheme. The kids who came in already knowing C and Java were equally perplexed by Scheme and therefore I didn't feel like the dumbest one in the class. https://twitter.com/maddiestone/status/1107343534548357120
