I learned in two podcasts I listened to recently (one of which was an interview with Leslie Scott, the woman who designed it) that the blocks are NOT identical. They have slight variations to make the game more challenging.
@peterdrake I always thought these were imperfections due to the natural material "wood".
But all we need now is to buy 20 Jenga sets, determine the mean deviation, calculate some probabilities, and off we go with the final Jenga-strategy guide!
