Our 7-year-old Samsung phones have served us well, but it's coming up on time to replace them. Any suggestions for a bloatware-free Android option?

(Preemption: we've been somewhat radicalized here, but we also need to play with others, so Linux phones are not an option.)

@peterdrake my next one will prob be a tweener, a Pixel with Graphene on it, which runs Android apps on a privacy/security focused OS...just a thought, I haven't tried it yet

I'm still running a next to last gen LG, which I love, but they're not available anymore)

@buzzdee Are you liking it? Does it seem physically solid? Any particular pros/cons?

@peterdrake Yes, I like it and it is also physically solid. In the beginning I had problems with an often crashing #Firefox but that problem seems solved by an update because it does not happen anymore. If you want to have an impression of the camera you can look at #shotonfairphone5

@buzzdee Hmm, I don't see anything for that hashtag. It might be a federation issue.

@peterdrake
You could also have a look at lots of FP5 photos (plus discussion/experiences) in the community forum at forum.fairphone.com/t/fp5-pict
