I posted https://ask.metafilter.com/346519/Would-lions-eat-clams this Ask MetaFilter question, "Would lions eat clams?" a few months ago, and am still awaiting a definitive answer.
"If you gave a lion a clam, would the lion attempt to eat it? Would they be able to eat it? Would they like it? Assume that the clam is still in the shell...."
