BitTorrent is still out there (even if you forgot about it!).

For a while now I've been running a Deluge seeding server hosting #Debian ISO images. Typically in a 10-15 week Debian minor release cycle I'll see ~50 downloads of the most popular image (debian-11.x.0-amd64-DVD-1.iso), with the 'live GNOME' and 'netinst' ISOs right behind it.

As of this morning, 10 weeks into the Debian 11.5 cycle, my server has seeded 75 copies of the top ISO, and ~40 of the next two.

@kevin Do you do any automation to snatch the latest image to seed?

I usually indefinitely seed images after I download them, but I download fresh images pretty rarely.

@pganssle No, I watch the Debian news feed and when new images are published I manually remove the old ones and grab the new ones.
