@phyu I only recently bought one. I gotta say, it is pretty fantastic.
@Surasanji mobile games are just cash cows. I really tried to find pay once and play games but the app store is flooded with freemium games. I need a portable and dedicated gaming device I can play in bed.
@phyu I love my Switch. I play it on the bus on the way to work, and at home. I don't have a television, so having the screen right there is super useful for me, personally.
And I can always get it on the TV later, should I get a TV!
@Surasanji Ahhh... you’re tempting me! I occasionally crave big screens but most of the time I like handhold devices because portability and I don’t know, the feeling of more personal by holding it in my hand? I could connect to TV if I want a bigger screen with switch... owww I really want it now 😖
@Surasanji The only genres I play are simulation games and visual novels, and I could only drool at steam’s visual novels because all I own is an old mac and I don’t have enough space to dual boot windows. I saw visual novels announcements for switch and started thinking of getting it. Thought about getting psvita but it’s old now and the companies are announcing their shift to switch.
@phyu I don't know how many visual novels are on Switch's eshop. That isn't a genre I play, personally.
I've only got the two games and I really can't recommend them enough. However, if there are those kinds of games on the switch e-store, it's a perfect tablet size for what I'd imagine you'd want.
I do know they've got some great indie titles like Stardew Valley. Another game that is just fantastic. I have it for windows, though.
