Been trying here and there to watch the third series of #JackRyan on #AmazonPrime. It feels terribly padded: long conversations that don't reveal anything new, entire scenes and set pieces that backtrack rather than advance the plot. The first two series didn't have this problem. I might stop here in the middle of the third episode and see if the fourth series is any better.
@chris Well, don't let me ruin it for you. I had much the same problem with the later editions of Netflix' Marvel series. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Punisher 1 & 2 were all great but some of the rest, notably Iron Fist, were so full of dreary filler and padding that I couldn't keep watching.
@chris I take it back. It gets a lot better. Very nail-bitey.

@pieist Interesting, probably starting season 3 tonight, I’ll have to see how it feels. Given I had trouble not bingeing the first two seasons a slower pace@may be good. 😛
