It'd be nice if I could persuade google to automatically add
"-pinterest"
to all my searches. The ratio of it coming up in results to anyone wanting it to must be about a trillion to one.
@ashmueli It's the "automatically" part I was asking for. Even if I wanted to stay logged in all the time, I don't think "prepend [x] to all my searches" is a personalization option.
(Mostly I was really just indirectlly grousing about how saturated with pinterest results many kinds of searches are. I don't know anyone who uses it for anything ever, and you can't do a thing with the result without signing up.)
@pieist I agree 100% about the Pinterest pollution! I have the same gripe. It’s particularly annoying in how well it finds its way into search results, being visual with just the right metadata to insinuate itself, I guess, and how badly it messes up the flow of the search experience, where there is nothing you can do with it and if you click through you have no idea what got you there!
@pieist you can. “-site:pinterest.com”. Should work.
